Martial Arts Badges was set up and is run by Alan Woodhouse a professional Goju-Ryu karate Instructor ( 5th Dan IOGKF and 2nd Dan ETKA) from the Southampton area of England.

After teaching for over 28 years I wanted to give my junior students something they could really look forward to achieving. After not being over-impressed by what was on the market we decided to design our own with help from the people that mattered most, the children.

The badges have been very successful in our clubs and the kids love achieving them. A lot of kids like to have 2 badges one for their club T-shirt and one for their karate uniform.

We now have over 150 different designs. If you think there is a design that you would like for your martial arts school contact us and we will endevour to make one up for you. All we need is picture of someone doing a particular technique.
